The instructions for both toys are almost identical, with the only difference being the ears. The pattern includes detailed steps for the head, body, arms, legs, tail, and snout. Finished Size:

  • Approximate size of the finished toys: 20 cm

Materials and Tools:

  • Main yarn: YarnArt Dolce (for the body)
  • Muzzle yarn: Alize Softy
  • Nose yarn: YarnArt Jeans (for the nose)
  • Crochet hook: 4.5 mm
  • Toy eyes
  • Needle for sewing the details
  • Scissors
  • Hollowfiber filling (optional for stuffing)

Abbreviations:

  • vp – chain stitch
  • ss – slip stitch
  • sc – single crochet
  • dec – decrease
  • inc – increase
  • (…) x n – repeat the instructions in parentheses n times
  • Total number of sc – this indicates the total number of single crochet stitches in the row after completing the pattern.

Crochet Pattern:

We begin crocheting with the ears and the front paws.


Teddy Bear Ears (Make 2):

  1. Row 1: 2 ch, 6 sc in the second chain from the hook
  2. Row 2: (inc) x 6 = 12 sc
  3. Row 3: 12 sc, fasten off and secure the end of the yarn (to be hidden when attaching to the head)

Bunny Ears (Make 2):

  1. Row 1: 2 ch, 6 sc in the second chain from the hook
  2. Row 2: (sc, inc) x 3 = 9 sc
  3. Row 3: (2 sc, inc) x 3 = 12 sc
  4. Row 4: (3 sc, inc) x 3 = 15 sc
  5. Row 5: (4 sc, inc) x 3 = 18 sc
  6. Row 6: (5 sc, inc) x 3 = 21 sc
  7. Row 7: (6 sc, inc) x 3 = 24 sc
    8-10. Rows 8-10: 24 sc
  8. Row 11: (6 sc, dec) x 3 = 21 sc
    12-13. Rows 12-13: 21 sc
  9. Row 14: (5 sc, dec) x 3 = 18 sc
    15-16. Rows 15-16: 18 sc
  10. Row 17: (4 sc, dec) x 3 = 15 sc
    18-19. Rows 18-19: 15 sc
  11. Row 20: (3 sc, dec) x 3 = 12 sc
    21-23. Rows 21-23: 12 sc
  12. Row 24: (sc, dec) x 4 = 8 sc
  13. Row 25: 8 sc
  14. Row 26: Join the two sides together – 4 sc, fasten off and secure the end of the yarn.

Front Paws (Make 2):

  1. Row 1: 2 ch, 6 sc in the second chain from the hook
  2. Row 2: (inc, sc, inc) x 2 = 10 sc
    3-9. Rows 3-9: 10 sc (7 rows)
  3. Row 10: (3 sc, dec) x 2 = 8 sc

Optional: You can add a small amount of filler to the paws if desired. Then crochet the two sides together – 4 sc, fasten off and secure the end of the yarn.
