Arms (Make 2)

  1. Round 1: 6 sc in KA (6)
  2. Round 2: (1 sc, inc) x 3 times (9)
    3-4. 9 sc (2 rounds)
  3. Round 5: (1 sc, dec) x 3 times (6)
    6-9. 6 sc (4 rounds)

Add joints and stuff the lower part of the arm. Close the hole.


Legs (Make 2)

  1. Round 1: 6 sc in KA (6)
  2. Round 2: 6 inc (12)
    3-4. 12 sc (2 rounds)
  3. Round 5: (2 sc, dec) x 3 times (9)
    6-10. 9 sc (5 rounds)

Add joints between the last two rounds, stuff with filling. Close the hole.


Body

  1. Round 1: 6 sc in KA (6)
  2. Round 2: 6 inc (12)
  3. Round 3: (1 sc, inc) x 6 times (18)
  4. Round 4: (2 sc, inc) x 6 times (24)
    5-6. 24 sc (2 rounds)
  5. Round 7: (2 sc, dec) x 6 times (18)
    8-9. 18 sc (2 rounds)

Attach the legs to the body using joints between rounds 3 and 4. Stuff the body.

  1. Round 10: 3 sc, dec, 8 sc, dec, 3 sc (16)
  2. Round 11: (2 sc, dec) x 4 times (12)
    Attach the arms to the body between rounds 10 and 11.
  3. Round 12: (2 sc, dec) x 3 times (10)
  4. Round 13: 10 sc

Stuff the body, attach the head securely.


Sweater

Instructions for raglan knitting:

  • Row 1: Knit, 4 knit, P, 2 knit, P, 8 knit, P, 2 knit, P, 4 knit.
  • Row 2: Knit, 5 knit, P, 4 knit, P, 10 knit, P, 4 knit, P, 5 knit.
  • Continue with similar raglan instructions, adding increases at the edges of the sweater until you reach the desired size.

Finish with ribbed knitting and stitch the sweater onto Benny’s body.


Cap

  • Cast on 48 stitches on circular needles.
  • Join into the round and knit ribbing for the distance between the eyes and ears.

Afterward, decrease the stitches gradually to form the cap, and close the top with a pom-pom.


Assembling Benny the Bear

  • Body and Limbs: Attach the arms, legs, and head to the body using joints.
  • Sweater and Cap: Dress Benny in his sweater and cap, ensuring they fit snugly and securely.
