4-13. 9 sc (10 rows)
Fold in half and crochet 4 sc through both loops. Cut the yarn. Attach the snout under the eyes, stuffing lightly during the process. Then, attach the horns, 4 rows from the beginning of the snout. Slightly bend the tips of the horns inward. Directly under the horns, sew the ears. Using white thread, embroider the whites of the eyes. In the 6th row, embroider the eyebrows with black thread. Use the same thread to embroider nostrils on the snout.
Legs and Body (Stuff as you crochet, Brown yarn)
- 6 sc in KA
- 6 inc (12)
- 12 sc, change yarn to main color
- 12 sc, change yarn to pants color
5-7. 12 sc (3 rows)
Cut the yarn at one leg. Crochet the second leg, but do not cut the yarn. Crochet 2 more sc on the second leg so that when joining the first leg, the color transition remains on the inside. Make 4 ch and join one leg to the other. Note that the beginning of the row will now be on the back.
- 12 sc on one leg, 4 sc on the ch, 12 sc on the other leg, 4 sc on the ch (32)
- (7 sc, inc) x 4 times (36)
- (5 sc, inc) x 6 times (42)
- (6 sc, inc) x 6 times (48)
12-19. 48 sc (8 rows)
Change yarn to main color. - 48 sc in the back loops only
- (6 sc, dec) x 6 times (42)
- (5 sc, dec) x 6 times (36)
23-25. 36 sc (3 rows) - (4 sc, dec) x 6 times (30)
In the next row, crochet the arms. - 4 sc, 4 sc through the loops of the arms and body, 10 sc, 4 sc with the arm, 8 sc (30)
Cut the yarn and secure. Attach the head to the body.
Onesie
Now, let’s crochet the pants. In the 20th row of the body, mark the middle 8 stitches. Join the yarn of the pants color and crochet 8 sc through the back loops of the 20th row. Continue with turning rows for 3 more rows of 8 sc, making 1 ch at the beginning of each row. Now, crochet the edge of the resulting piece, as if going down to the beginning of the row. Crochet the pants along the remaining back loops of the 20th row. Crochet the edge, now going upward.
Without cutting the yarn, make a strap from ch. I made 20 ch, but your quantity may vary. The length of the strap should be enough to cross over the back and sew to the beginning of the pants. My straps cross in the shape of a cross. Join the yarn to the other side of the pants and make the second strap. Sew them to the beginning of the pants.
Tail
At the back of the bull, join the main color yarn and crochet a chain of 7 ch. Cut the yarn and secure it. Make 3 identical pieces of brown yarn, fold them in half, and thread through the last ch of the tail. In the resulting loop, thread the ends and tighten. Trim to the desired length.
Enjoy your crocheted bull!
