Crochet Instructions for Plush Deer

Upper Legs (2 parts)

1. Using beige yarn and a 4.5 mm hook, make 2 chains, then crochet 6 single crochets into the second chain from the hook (or 6 into the magic ring).
2. (2 sc, inc) x 2 (8 stitches)
3. Crochet 2 rows (8 stitches)
4. Crochet 4 rows (8 stitches)
5. (2 sc, dec) x 2 (6 stitches), join two sides together by crocheting 3 sc. Cut the yarn, secure the end, and hide it. Repeat for the second upper leg.

Lower Legs (2 parts)

Start with the legs in red boots. Using red yarn and a 4.5 mm hook, crochet the left lower leg:

1. Make 2 chains, then crochet 6 sc into the second chain from the hook (or 6 into the magic ring).
2. Inc x 6 (12 stitches)
3. Crochet 2 rows (12 stitches)
4. (3 sc, dec) x 3 (9 stitches)
5. Crochet 9 sc
6. Switch to beige yarn:

• Crochet 3 rows (9 stitches), ss, cut the yarn, and secure the end.

Repeat for the right leg, joining the parts together.
