Free Crochet Pattern for Zephyr Unicorn

Ears (make 2 pieces):

  1. Row 1: 2 ch, 5 sc (5).
  2. Row 2: 5 sc (5).
  3. Row 3: inc x 5 (10).
    4-5. Row 4-5: 10 sc.
  4. Row 6: dec, 3 sc x 2 (8).

Finish with a slip stitch, leaving a 15-20 cm thread for sewing. Do not stuff.


Horn:

  1. Row 1: 2 ch, 4 sc (4).
  2. Row 2: 4 sc (4).
  3. Row 3: 1 sc, inc x 2 (6).
  4. Row 4: 6 sc (6).

Stuff the body firmly as you crochet. Attach the legs between rows 7 and 8, with 21 sc between them. Attach the arms between rows 20 and 21, with 10 sc between them.


Curls for the Mane (10-11 pieces):
Make a chain of 51 ch. Then, in the second ch from the hook, crochet 3 sc in each ch until the end. Join with a slip stitch. Tie the “tails” together.

Attach the curls tightly around the horn using a regular sewing needle and thread. Tuck the “tails” with the crochet hook.


Curls for the Tail (5 pieces):
Make a chain of 31 ch. In the second ch from the hook, crochet 3 sc in each ch until the end. Join with a slip stitch. Tie the “tails” together.

Attach the curls to the tail between rows 10-12 using a regular sewing needle and thread. Tuck the “tails” with the crochet hook.
