With this description, you can crochet a plush unicorn using a hook. For the amigurumi, any plush yarn and the appropriate hook are suitable. The unicorn’s arms and legs are attached using plastic joints, but if you prefer, you can sew these parts directly onto the body.
You can also decorate the toy with anything you like, such as knitting a dress.
Materials and Tools:
- Plush yarn (e.g., Himalaya Dolphin Baby or Wolans Bunny Baby) for the main color, additional yarn for details like curls
- Crochet hook: 4 mm
- Safety eyes (18 mm)
- Toy stuffing
- Plastic joints (20 mm x 2, 15 mm x 2)

Head:
- Row 1: 2 ch, 6 sc into the ring (6).
- Row 2: 6 inc (12).
- Row 3: 1 sc, inc x 6 (18).
- Row 4: 2 sc, inc x 6 (24).
- Row 5: 3 sc, inc x 6 (30).
- Row 6: 4 sc, inc x 6 (36).
- Row 7: 5 sc, inc x 6 (42).
8-14. Row 8-14: 42 sc (7 rows). - Row 15: 5 sc, dec x 6 (36).
- Row 16: 36 sc.
- Row 17: 4 sc, dec x 6 (30).
- Row 18: 3 sc, dec x 6 (24).
- Row 19: 2 sc, dec x 6 (18).
- Row 20: 1 sc, dec x 6 (12).
- Row 21: 6 dec (6).
- Row 22: continue decreasing until closed.
Insert safety eyes between rows 11 and 12, with 6 sc between them. Fill the head firmly as you crochet, but not too stiffly. There will be two shaping sections: one when the head is finished, and another when attaching it to the body. Embroider the eyebrows and nostrils. We will glue the eyelashes after the second shaping.
