In this tutorial, you can crochet plush toys from the feline family: a tiger cub and a cat. These cute crocheted cats are perfect for making amigurumi with plush yarn such as Himalaya Dolphin Baby, YarnArt Dolce, or other similar types. All parts are crocheted in a spiral. You can add whiskers to the snouts using fishing line. Feel free to decorate the toys as you like.
Materials and Tools:
- Plush yarn Himalaya Dolphin Baby (half a skein of each color +/-)
- Thread for the snout details
- Crochet hook 3.5 mm
- Safety eyes for toys 16-18 mm
- Safety nose for toys 20×15 mm

- Toy filler
- Stitch markers
- Joint connectors for paws 3-3.5
- Joint connectors for hands 2-2.5

Crocheting Ernie the Tiger and Timofey the Cat
Ear Instructions (Ernie)
(4 pieces):
- 2 white, 2 orange yarn.
- 6 sc in KA (chain stitch as a starting loop).
- Increase in every stitch: (1 sc, 1 inc) x 6 (12 sc).
- (1 sc, 1 inc) x 6 (18 sc), join with ss, cut yarn.
Join the two parts (white and orange yarn), and crochet around with black yarn. In the 9th stitch, make 3 sc in one stitch.
