Free Crochet Masterclass Amigurumi Raccoon Choco

Snout (White Yarn):

  1. 8 sc in the magic ring (8)
  2. 8 inc (16)
  3. 16 sc (16)

Stuff the snout with filler. It should be sewn between rows 11-14. You can embroider the nose with black yarn or use a plastic toy nose. Insert it between rows 2-3. Embroider the cheeks with pink yarn.

Body (Black Yarn):

Starting with the legs:

  1. 5 sc in the magic ring (5)
  2. 5 inc (10)
    3-4. 10 sc (10)

Secure and cut the yarn. Crochet another leg to row 4, but do not cut the yarn. Continue with 3 chains in grey yarn and join it to the first leg. You can watch a video on how to join two legs together. From here, we will crochet only in grey yarn.

  1. 10 sc + 3 sc (ch) + 10 sc + (ch) (26)
  2. (3 sc, inc) x 6, 2 sc (32)
    7-12. 32 sc (32)
  3. (14 sc, dec) x 2 (30)
  4. 30 sc (30)
  5. (3 sc, dec) x 6 (24)

Secure and leave a long tail for attaching to the head. Stuff the body tightly.

  1. 4 sc in the magic ring (4)
  2. 4 inc (8)
  3. 8 sc (8)

Secure and leave a long tail for attaching to row 15 of the body. I do not stuff the arms, but you can if you’d like.

Leave a long tail of pink yarn and make a small ribbon like a basket handle.
