Crochet Pattern: Plush Bunny and Dog by Darya Bayash
This versatile pattern lets you crochet adorable plush animals using the same base design. With minor changes to the ears, you can create bunnies, dogs, bears, cats, or other characters.
Materials
- Yarn: YarnArt Dolce, Himalaya Dolphin Baby, or similar plush yarn (approx. 0.5 skein). You can also use Alize Softy, held double.
- Hook: 4.0 mm (or a size suitable for your yarn).
- Eyes: Safety eyes.
- Matching yarn: For sewing parts.
- Contrast yarn: For face details.
- Accessory materials: Yarn or ribbon for a scarf.
- Stuffing: Fiberfill or similar.

Legs + Body
- Legs: (Make 2)
- Round 1: Ch 2, 6 sc in the second chain from the hook (6).
- Round 2: 6 inc (12).
- Rounds 3-6: 12 sc (4 rounds).
- Fasten off for the first leg.
- Join legs:
- On the second leg, do not fasten off. Ch 2, join with the first leg.
- Round 7: Work 12 sc around the first leg, 2 sc along the chain, 12 sc around the second leg, 2 sc along the other side of the chain (28).
- Body:
- Rounds 8-10: 28 sc (3 rounds).
