Paws (For All Animals)

  1. Round 1: 6 sc in a magic ring (6)
  2. Round 2: Increase in each stitch (12)
  3. Round 3: (1 sc, inc) x 3, 3 sc (15)
  4. Round 4: For the back loops only, crochet 15 sc.
  5. Round 5: Change color if desired (the puppy’s paws can have a different color). 15 sc
  6. Round 6: 4 sc, 4 dec, 3 sc (11)
  7. Round 7: 4 sc, dec, 5 sc (10)
    8-11. Rounds 8-11: 10 sc (4 rounds)
  8. Round 12: 1 sc, stuff lightly, and crochet 5 sc on each side to form the paw shape.

Claws:

Puppy Ears

  1. Round 1: 4 ch, 2 sc into the second chain from hook, 3 sc into the next stitch, 1 sc, inc.

  3. Continue working the ear with the appropriate number of increases and decreases.

Final Assembly:

  • Attach the ears at round 9 or 10, as shown in the photo.
  • Sew on the head to the body.
  • Attach the arms to the body, just below the head.
  • Sew on the tail above the legs.
  • Tie a ribbon bow and attach it to the body to prevent it from loosening.
  • Use a lighter to gently burn the ends of the ribbon to prevent fraying.
