Amigurumi Miniature Bear Free Pattern

In this masterclass, you will learn how to crochet a small miniature bear using a crochet hook. The pattern is designed to work with any acrylic, cotton, or half-cotton yarn, along with an appropriate crochet hook. You can embellish the bear with a ribbon, and the nose can be either embroidered or made using a ready-made nose piece.

The finished toy size is approximately 12 cm.

Materials and Tools

  • Yarn: Pehorka Детская Новинка (or any yarn suitable for the project)
  • Crochet Hook: 2 mm
  • Embroidery Thread: For facial details
  • Safety Eyes: 6 mm
  • Toy Stuffing: For filling the toy
  • Safety Nose: For the bear’s nose
  • Satin Ribbon: For decoration
  • Pastel: For tinting
  • Needle: For sewing
  • Scissors

Crochet Pattern for the Miniature Bear

Upper Paws (Make 2)

Using body-colored yarn:

  1. Round 1: 6 sc in the magic ring (6)
  2. Round 2: (sc, inc) x 3 (9)
    3-7. 9 sc (5 rounds)
  3. Add stuffing.
  4. Round 8: (sc, dec) x 3 (6)
    6-7. 6 sc (2 rounds)

Pull the yarn tight to close. Cut the yarn, leaving a tail for sewing.


Lower Paws (Make 2)

Using body-colored yarn:

  1. Round 1: 4 ch, 1 sc in the 2nd ch from the hook, 1 sc, 3 sc in the same stitch, 1 sc, 2 sc in the same stitch (8)
  2. Round 2: inc, sc, 3 inc, sc, 2 inc (14)
    3-5. 14 sc (3 rounds)
  3. Round 6: 5 sc, 2 dec, 5 sc (12)
  4. Round 7: (2 sc, dec) x 3 (9)
  5. 9 sc
  6. Add stuffing.
  7. Round 9: (sc, dec) x 3 (6)
    9-10. 6 sc (2 rounds)

Pull the yarn tight to close. Cut the yarn, leaving a tail for sewing.

Using colored yarn:
