Body

We put our legs together and connect them by knitting 12 sc. Place a marker to mark the beginning of the row and continue to knit.

  1. One leg: 42 sc + the other leg: 42 sc = 84 sc
    2-5. 84 sc
  2. (12 sc, dec) * 6 times = 78 sc
  3. 78 sc
  4. (11 sc, dec) * 6 times = 72 sc
  5. 72 sc (In this row, insert the tail exactly above the junction of the legs.)
  6. (10 sc, dec) * 6 times = 66 sc
  7. 66 sc
  8. (9 sc, dec) * 6 times = 60 sc
  9. (8 sc, dec) * 6 times = 54 sc
    14-17. 54 sc
  10. (7 sc, dec) * 6 times = 48 sc
    19-22. 48 sc
  11. (6 sc, dec) * 6 times = 42 sc
    24-27. 42 sc
  12. (5 sc, dec) * 6 times = 36 sc
    29-30. 36 sc
  13. 36 sc (In this row, we knit folded hands. Although they can be sewn onto the finished toy.)
    32-33. 36 sc
Fasten and cut the thread, leaving a long end for stitching.

Trunk

Stuff during the process of knitting – the tip is denser, the base is slightly less so.

  1. 6 inc = 12 sc
  2. (1 sc, inc) * 6 times = 18 sc
  3. 18 sc behind the rear hinges
    4-10. 18 sc
  4. (8 sc, inc) * 2 times = 20 sc
    12-14. 20 sc
  5. (9 sc, inc) * 2 times = 22 sc
    16-18. 22 sc
  6. (10 sc, inc) * 2 times = 24 sc
    20-22. 24 sc
  7. (11 sc, inc) * 2 times = 26 sc
  8. 26 sc
  9. (12 sc, inc) * 2 times = 28 sc
  10. 28 sc
  11. (6 sc, inc) * 4 times = 32 sc
  12. 32 sc
  13. (7 sc, inc) * 4 times = 36 sc
  14. 36 sc
Return to the front walls of the 2nd row. Attach and tie with a “crustacean step.”

Head

The head is knitted from the bottom up and gets tied up during the trunk knitting. Stuff during the knitting process, but not very tightly.

  1. 6 inc = 12 sc
  2. (1 sc, inc) * 6 times = 18 sc
  3. (2 sc, inc) * 6 times = 24 sc
  4. (3 sc, inc) * 6 times = 30 sc
  5. Behind the rear walls: (4 sc, inc) * 6 times = 36 sc
  6. (5 sc, inc) * 6 times = 42 sc
  7. (6 sc, inc) * 6 times = 48 sc
  8. (7 sc, inc) * 6 times = 54 sc
  9. (8 sc, inc) * 6 times = 60 sc
  10. (9 sc, inc) * 6 times = 66 sc
  11. (10 sc, inc) * 6 times = 72 sc
    12-21. 72 sc
  12. Attach the trunk for 12 sc, knitting them together with the head’s sc (do not fold the trunk in half). = 72 sc
  13. Knit in a large circle: 84 sc
    24-25. 84 sc
  14. (11 sc, dec) * 6 times = 72 sc
  15. 72 sc
  16. (10 sc, dec) * 6 times = 66 sc
  17. 66 sc
  18. (9 sc, dec) * 6 times = 60 sc
  19. 60 sc
  20. (8 sc, dec) * 6 times = 54 sc
  21. 54 sc
  22. (7 sc, dec) * 6 times = 48 sc
  23. (6 sc, dec) * 6 times = 42 sc
  24. (5 sc, dec) * 6 times = 36 sc
  25. (4 sc, dec) * 6 times = 30 sc
  26. (3 sc, dec) * 6 times = 24 sc
  27. (2 sc, dec) * 6 times = 18 sc
  28. (1 sc, dec) * 6 times = 12 sc
  29. Dec * 6 times
Pull the hole, fasten and hide the thread.
You can make a crest by attaching the threads around the hole and tying them in a knot.

Lip

  1. 6 inc = 12 sc
  2. (1 sc, inc) * 6 times = 18 sc
  3. (2 sc, inc) * 6 times = 24 sc
    4-5. 24 sc
Fold the part in half and connect the edges with columns without double crochet. Leave the thread for sewing. The lip connected in this way turned out to be very large, so it’s better to reduce it by not knitting the 3rd or 4th row.

Head Registration

Sew the lip under the trunk, stepping 3-4 rows from strips of the front walls of loops of the 4th row of the head.

Sew on the eyes. Mark the points for the hooks.
Points 1-4 are at the corners of the mouth for sewing on the lips.
Points 5-6 are at the location of the future eyes, 6 rows from the point of attachment of the trunk (28th row of the head).
Points 7-8 are symmetrically on the opposite side.

Assembly

Sew the head to the body, focusing on the strip of the front walls of the loops of the 4th row.
Attach the needle under a column of the 5th row of the head, then under the column of the 33rd row of the body. Connect all 36 columns of the 5th row of the head and 36 columns of the 33rd row of the body.

Fasten the thread, trim, and hide the end.

Ears

You can also connect napkins for another pattern or with ordinary columns without a crochet. Edges tied with a “crustacean step,” folded in half, and attached with single crochet (approximately 6-7 sc). Try on the ears to the head, choose the position you like, and sew them on.

To cover the seams, I knitted flowers and sewn them at the place of attachment of the ears.
