Amigurumi Christmas Penguin Crochet Free Pattern

Paws
1) 6 sc in MR (6)
2) Knit in one loop: (sl-st, 1 ch, sl-st), repeat 2 more times.
Fasten the thread, trim, leaving a long end for sewing.


Cap
Knit with Softy yarn: Cast on 20 stitches (18 + 2 edge)
1-2) Knit face loops, change the thread to red
3) Knit face loops
4) Purl 4
5) Knit face loops
6) Purl
Further, in each front row, make 1 decrease in the middle until there are 9 loops left on the needles.
Make 4 decreases.
Pull off the stitches.
Sew the cap and sew it using monofilament to the body.


Second Cap
Start knitting with Softy yarn: Cast on 22 loops
1-3) Knit face loops, change the thread to red
4) Knit face loops
5) Purl 5
6) Knit face loops
7) Purl
8-11) Make decreases
Pull off the stitches.
Sew the hat.
Sew on a pom-pom.
Stuff the hat slightly and sew it using monofilament to the body.


Hat
Start knitting with Softy yarn: Cast on 22 loops
1-2) Knit face loops, change the thread to red
3) Knit face loops
4) Purl
5) Knit face loops
6) Purl, change the thread to Softy
7) Knit face loops
Pull off the stitches.
Sew the hat. Sew on the pom-pom.
Now, continue to crochet:
Attach the red thread behind the cap, crochet a few sc to the place where the first ear will be.

  • Then, ch 6, in the 2nd loop from the hook, crochet 5 sc, and continue sc in the remaining 4 loops.
    Crochet sc again to the place where the second ear will be.
    Repeat the action (*).
    After you crochet the second ear, crochet sc.
    Stuff your hat slightly and sew it using monofilament to the body.
    Crochet by the “cord” method, i.e., do not turn the work on the wrong side but crochet only on the front side, returning to 1 loop each time.

Snood Scarf
Alternate each row between white and red.
Cast on 10 stitches and crochet 47 rows. Sew both ends of the scarf. Dress the scarf on the penguin and sew with monofilament.
