With this pattern, you can crochet a Valentine’s Day angel teddy bear. The amigurumi project is perfect for using any semi-cotton yarn like Alize Cotton Gold, YarnArt Jeans, or Gazzal Baby Cotton.

The finished toy will be approximately 17 cm tall.

Materials and Tools

  • Yarn:
  • Alize Cotton Gold: light pink (for the bear), white (for the wings), bright pink (for the heart)
  • Embroidery thread (for eyebrows)
  • Hook: 2 mm
  • Toy eyes
  • Toy nose
  • Stuffing
  • Needle for sewing details
  • Scissors

Abbreviations

  • MR: Magic ring
  • ch: Chain
  • sc: Single crochet
  • inc: Increase (2 sc in one stitch)
  • dec: Decrease (sc two stitches together)
  • (…) x n: Repeat instructions in parentheses n times

  1. 6 sc in MR (6)

  3. (1 sc, inc) x 6 (18)

  6. 30 sc in the back loops only
    7–12. 30 sc (6 rows)

Cut the yarn for the first leg.
Repeat for the second leg, but do not cut the yarn; continue crocheting:

  1. Ch 3, take the second leg, crochet 30 sc, 3 sc in the ch, 30 sc on the first leg, 3 sc in the ch (66)
    Crochet tightly where the legs join to avoid holes.
