Free Knitting Masterclass: Crochet “Hryunya” by Anna Borysova (@toys_knit_anna)

In this tutorial, you will learn how to crochet “Hryunya” from Winnie the Pooh using amigurumi techniques. Any plush yarn and an appropriate crochet hook will work for this project. All parts are crocheted in a spiral and sewn together with sewing thread.

Materials and Tools:

  • Plush Yarn: YarnArt Dolce 779 (beige) or Himalaya Dolphin 353 (beige) – 1.5 skeins
  • Plush Yarn: YarnArt Dolce 759 (raspberry) or Himalaya Dolphin 314 (raspberry) – 0.5 skeins
  • Plush Yarn: Himalaya Dolphin 508 (black) – for stripes (small amount)
  • Plush Yarn: YarnArt Dolce 769 (pink) – for ears and snout (small amount)
  • Embroidery thread: Iris (for embroidering the snout)
  • Crochet Hook

Embroidered Snout Lines

Start 2 rows below the snout. Make 2 indentations in the snout’s corners. The distance between the indentations is 8 sc.

You can also embroider a smile with black Iris thread.

Start crocheting the body with YarnArt Dolce 759 (or Himalaya Dolphin 314). Crochet stripes with Himalaya Dolphin 310.
