Materials Needed

  • Yarn: YarnArt Jeans or equivalent.
  • Crochet hook: 2.2 mm.
  • Safety eyes: 6 mm.
  • Yarn for facial embroidery.
  • Stuffing.
  • Needle and scissors.

Abbreviations

  • MR: Magic ring.
  • ch: Chain.
  • sc: Single crochet.
  • inc: Increase (2 sc in one stitch).
  • dec: Decrease.
  • (…) x n: Repeat the instructions inside the parentheses n times.

Head

  1. Round 1: 8 sc in MR (8).
  2. Round 2: 8 inc (16).
  3. Round 3: (1 sc, inc) x 8 (24).
  4. Round 4: (2 sc, inc) x 8 (32).
  5. Round 5: (3 sc, inc) x 8 (40).
  6. Round 6: (4 sc, inc) x 8 (48).
    7-16. Rounds 7-16: 48 sc (10 rounds).

Insert safety eyes between Rounds 12 and 13, with 4 sc between them.

  1. Round 17: (4 sc, dec) x 8 (40).
  2. Round 18: (3 sc, dec) x 8 (32).
  3. Round 19: (2 sc, dec) x 8 (24).
  4. Round 20: (1 sc, dec) x 8 (16).
  5. Round 21: 8 dec (8).

Fasten off, close the hole, and weave in the yarn tail.
