Little Elephant Amigurumi Pattern
This delightful plush elephant pattern by @plusheviyzay uses Himalaya Dolphin Baby plush yarn and crochet hooks sized 4 mm (for the body) and 5 mm (for the ears). It’s a cuddly and quick project, perfect for little ones or as a charming gift.

Abbreviations
- ch: Chain.
- sc: Single crochet.
- inc: Increase (2 sc in one stitch).
- dec: Decrease (invisible decrease recommended).
- HDC: Half double crochet.
- MR: Magic ring.
Arms (Make 2)
- Round 1: 4 sc in MR (4).
- Round 2: 4 inc (8).
Color change.
3-4. Rounds 3-4: 8 sc (2 rounds). - Round 5: (2 sc, dec) x 2 (6).
6-10. Rounds 6-10: 6 sc (5 rounds).
Stuff only the hand portion lightly. Fold the open end flat and sc through both layers to close. Fasten off and set aside.
Legs (Make 2)
- Round 1: 4 sc in MR (4).
- Round 2: 4 inc (8).
Color change.
3-7. Rounds 3-7: 8 sc (5 rounds).
For the first leg, fasten off and set aside. For the second leg, do not fasten off. Continue directly to the body.
Body
- From the second leg: ch 2, join to the first leg. Work as follows:
- 3 sc around the first leg, 1 inc, 4 sc around the first leg,
- 3 sc across the ch (place 3 sc on 2 chains to avoid gaps),
- 3 sc around the second leg, 1 inc, 4 sc around the second leg,
- 3 sc across the other side of the ch (24).
- Round 2: (3 sc, inc) x 6 (30).
3-7. Rounds 3-7: 30 sc (5 rounds).
To attach the tail (optional):
In the middle of the back (around the 13th stitch):
- Chain 6, then work back with 5 sc into the chain, starting from the second chain from the hook. Continue to crochet the row.
- Round 8: (3 sc, dec) x 6 (24).
- Round 9: 24 sc.
- Round 10: (2 sc, dec) x 6 (18).
- Round 11: 18 sc.
- Round 12: (1 sc, dec) x 6 (12).
Attach the arms in Round 13:
- 12 sc, crocheting through the arms and body for 4 sc per arm.
- Round 14: 6 dec (6).
Continue to the head.
