  2. R24 - [1sc, dec] x8 (16sc)
  3. R25 - 8dec (8sc)

Stuff head, fasten off and weave in your ends.

Attaching Eye Patches

The part of the eye patch where the 5dc's are will be facing each other on the face, with the R2 7sc pointing towards the top of the head. This means that one of your eye patches will be wrong side facing out.

Place safety eye through the stitch that the five dc's go into. The safety eyes need to be inserted on R19, place them on the 3rd sc on either side of the colour change. Pop the safety eye backs on (this will secure the patches onto the face), then using the long tail of the patch, sew around the edges attaching them to the face.

Strawberry Hat

Starting with your Strawberry colour C4.

  1. Fasten off, weave in your ends.

Strawberry Stem

Starting with Stem colour C5.

  1. R1 - 5sc in mr (5sc)
  2. R2-R4 (3 rows) - sc around (5sc)
  3. R5 - [ch4, sc in 2nd ch from hook, 2s down ch, sc in same base stitch, slst] repeat until you have 5 stems.

Fasten off, leave a long tail and use this to attach to the top of the hat.

Details

Use your seed colour to embroider little seeds over your strawberry hat. I did little V shapes.

Use C7 to embroider a nose between the eyes over two stitches and a little smile underneath.

To style the brim of the strawberry, you can either fold the row of dc's inward or outward.

Let the leg fall straight and sew the feet together; the fold of the legs should look like...
