Embroider eyelashes, mouth. Attach the decorative bow and keychain attachment. If you don't have a keychain, you can make a loop using a chain of the desired length.

Octopus Tentacle Crochet Instructions

After completing the body, you will need to crochet the tentacles. Follow these steps:

  1. Work into the front loops of the 10th row.
  2. Chain 4, then single crochet in the second chain from the hook. Make 3 more single crochets along the chain.
  3. Slip stitch into the next front loop on the body.
  4. Repeat this process to create tentacles all the way around the octopus's body.

Final Steps for the Body

  1. After completing the tentacles, use the back loops of the 10th row and crochet (1 sc, 1 decrease) 6 times around. (12)
  2. For the last round, decrease around. (6)

Pull the hole closed and weave in the ends neatly.

Finishing Touches

  • Use black thread to embroider small eyelashes and a smile onto the face.
  • Attach the decorative bow with glue, or sew it onto the head.
  • If you want to turn this into a keychain, attach the keychain loop to the top of the head. If you don’t have a keychain, you can crochet a chain of the desired length and sew it onto the top.

And that’s it! Your cute little crocheted octopus is ready to go!
