Velvet Cheburashka Monkey Amigurumi Free Pattern




 


NECESSARY MATERIALS AND TOOLS:

  • WOLANS Bunny Baby yarn
    • Color 100-40 brown - 3 skeins for the head and paws
    • Color 100-18 beige - ½ skein for the feet and muzzle
  • YarnArt Jeans yarn
    • Color 53 black - a little for decoration.
    • For the head shaping, select a color similar to the main one.
  • A pair of safety eyes, 20 mm.
  • Nose, 16-18 mm.
  • Joints for arms and legs, 35 mm (you can use 40 mm for the legs, depending on the tightness of your stitching). Alternatively, the arms and legs can be crocheted as you go.
  • Crochet hook No. 4 (as I used).
  • Stuffing.
  • Scissors.
  • Stitch markers for crocheting.
  • A thick needle with a large eye (for sewing parts) and a long one for shaping the head.

The finished toy height is about 40 cm.

SYMBOLS:

  • KA - Amigurumi Ring
  • SC - Single Crochet
  • DC - Double Crochet
  • HDC - Half Double Crochet
  • INC - Increase (crochet 2 SC in one stitch)
  • DEC - Decrease (crochet 2 SC together)
  • SL ST - Slip Stitch
  • CH - Chain
  • BLO - Back Loop Only
  • Puff stitch - a puff stitch made of 4 DC in one point
  • () x - Repeat the indicated number of times

LEGS (Lower)

We begin crocheting with beige yarn.

  • Row 1: 6 CH, in the 2nd chain from the hook - 4 SC, 3 SC in the last chain, along the other side of the chain 3 SC, INC (12 stitches)
  • Row 2: INC, 3 SC, INC × 3, 3 SC, INC × 2 (18 stitches)
  • Row 3: 1 SC, INC, 3 SC, (1 SC, INC) × 3, 3 SC, (1 SC, INC) × 2 (24 stitches)
  • Row 4: 2 SC, INC, 3 SC, (2 SC, INC) × 3, 3 SC, (2 SC, INC) × 2 (30 stitches)
  • Row 5: 3 SC, INC, 3 SC, (3 SC, INC) × 3, 3 SC, (3 SC, INC) × 2 (36 stitches)
  • Row 6: (1 SC, INC) × 18 (54 stitches)
  • Row 7: 54 SC in BLO. (Switch the beige yarn to brown yarn using BLO)

TOES (Next row involves crocheting the toes.)

  • Row 8: 17 SC (puff stitch, 3 SC) × 3, puff stitch, 24 SC.
  • Row 9: 54 SC (in this row, I didn’t finish 3 SC so that I could stop exactly at the middle of the back of the foot). Make sure the stitch marker is centered at the back of the foot!
  • Row 10: 12 SC, (4 SC, DEC) × 4, 14 SC, DEC × 2 (48 stitches)
  • Row 11: 11 SC, (3 SC, DEC) × 4, 17 SC (44 stitches)
  • Row 12: 10 SC, (2 SC, DEC) × 4, 18 SC (40 stitches)
  • Row 13: 10 SC, (1 SC, DEC) × 4, 18 SC (36 stitches)
  • Row 14: 12 SC, (DEC) × 4, 16 SC (32 stitches)
  • Row 15: (2 SC, DEC) × 8 (24 stitches)
  • Row 16: 24 SC.
  • Row 17: (2 SC, DEC) × 6 (18 stitches).

Stuff the lower part of the leg.

  • Rows 18-25: 18 SC - 8 rows.
  • Row 25: (1 SC, DEC) × 6 (12 stitches).
  • Insert the joint between rows 24 and 25. Fill the leg completely.
  • Row 26: DEC × 6.

Close the remaining hole with a needle, fasten the yarn, and cut it.
