MATERIALS

  • Worsted yarn

  • Crochet Hook 2.5mm
  • Stuffing Fiberfill
  • Safety Nose 10mm
  • Safety Eyes black 8mm x 2

SIZE: 16cm (6.3 inches) (If using fingering weight yarn on a 2.5mm crochet hook)

HEAD

Begin with brown yarn:

  1. Rnd 1: 6 Chain, 1 inc on the 2nd chain from the hook, 3 sc, 3 sc in the last st, 3 sc on the other side of the chain, 1 sc in the last st [12]
  2. Rnd 2: [BLO 2 inc, 3 sc, 3 inc, 3 sc, 1 inc] [18]
  3. Rnd 3: [BLO (1 sc, 1 inc) x 2, 3 sc, (1 sc, 1 inc) x 3, 4 sc, 1 inc] [24]
  4. Rnd 4: [BLO (3 sc, 1 inc) x 6] [30]
  5. Rnd 5: [BLO (4 sc, 1 inc) x 6] [36]
  6. Rnd 6: [BLO sc in all 36 st] [36]
  7. Rnd 7 - Rnd 9: 21 sc, [BLO 15 sc] [36]
  8. Rnd 10: (2 sc, 1 inc) x 7, [BLO 15 sc] [43]

  10. Insert the safety eyes between rounds 7 and 8, with an interspace of 6 stitches.

HAIR

Working in FLO of Rnd 2 of the head, attach the brown yarn to the first st: (sist, chain 3), make this until the end.

* In FLO of Rnd 7, don't cut the yarn off, turn and continue to FLO of Rnd 16.

* Don't crochet hair in FLO of Rnd 17.

Fill the head with stuffing material. Fasten off.

EARS

Begin with brown yarn:

  1. Rnd 1: 5 Chain, 1 inc on the 2nd chain from the hook, 2 sc, 4 sc in the last st, 2 sc on the other side of the chain, 1 inc in the last st [12]
  2. Rnd 2: [BLO 2 inc, 2 sc, 4 inc, 2 sc, 2 inc] [20]
  3. Rnd 3: [BLO sc in all 20 st] [20]

Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.

HAIR (Ears)

Working in FLO of Rnd 2 of the ear, attach the brown yarn to the first st: (sist, chain 3), make this until the end of FLO of Rnd 3, continue:

  1. Rnd 4: FLO (sist, chain 3) x 20

Fasten off. Sew the ear to the head at Rnd 7.

SNOUT

Begin with brown yarn:

  1. Rnd 1: 6 chain, 1 inc on the 2nd chain from the hook, 3 sc, 4 sc in the last st, 3 sc on the other side of the chain, 1 inc in the last st [14]
  2. Rnd 2: [BLO 7 sc, 2 inc, 3 sc, 2 inc] [18]

Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing. Insert the safety snout center round 1.

BEARD

Working in FLO of Rnd 2 of the snout, attach the brown yarn to the first st: (sist, chain 3), make this until the end of FLO of Rnd 4, continue:

  1. Rnd 5: FLO (sist, chain 3) x 22

Fasten off. Don't stuff the snout. Sew the snout to the head between Rnd 8 and Rnd 15.

TAIL

Begin with brown yarn:

  1. Rnd 1: 5 sc in the magic ring [5]
  2. Rnd 2: [BLO 5 inc] [10]
  3. Rnd 3: [BLO (1 sc, 1 inc) x 5] [15]
  4. Rnd 4: [BLO sc in all 15 st] [15]

Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.

HAIR (Tail)

Working in FLO of Rnd 2 of the tail, attach the brown yarn to the first st: (sist, chain 3), make this until the end of FLO of Rnd 4, continue:

  1. Rnd 5: FLO (sist, chain 3) x 15

Fasten off. Don't stuff the tail. Sew the tail to the body between Rnd 2 and 5.

BODY

First, we start with the neck. Begin with brown yarn:

  1. Rnd 1: 23 Chain, connect first chain to MAKE A RING, continue working in a spiral 23 sc [23]
  2. Rnd 2: 13 chain, 1 sc on the 2nd chain FROM THE HOOK, 11 sc on the chain, 1 sc in the stitch where the foundation chain starts, 23 sc on the neck, 11 sc on the other side of the chain, 3 sc in the last st [50]
  3. Place the stitch marker in the next stitch.
  4. Rnd 3: 1 inc, 48 sc, 1 inc [52]
  5. Rnd 4: 1 sc, 1 inc, 48 sc, 1 inc, 1 sc [54]
  6. Rnd 5: 2 sc, 1 inc, 48 sc, 1 inc, 2 sc [56]
  7. Rnd 6: 3 sc, 1 inc, 20 sc, 1 inc, 5 sc, 1 inc, 21 sc, 1 inc, 3 sc [60]
  8. Rnd 7 - Rnd 11: sc in all 60 sc [60]

Do not cut brown yarn to continue the leg.

LEGS

Mark the position of the 4 legs:

  • 1 st for space on middle back from last st on Rnd 11 of body
  • 10 st for the second leg.
  • 9 st for space belly.
  • 10 st for the third leg.
  • 1 st for space on middle front.
  • 10 st for the fourth leg.
  • 9 st for space belly.
  • 10 st for the first leg.

(Do not cut brown yarn on Rnd 11 of body, first I made leg 1)

Leg 1:

Continue brown yarn of last st round 11 of the body, on the right-hand side.

  1. Rnd 1: 5 chain, 10 sc on the body [15]
  2. Rnd 2: 5 sc on the chain, 10 sc on the body [15]
  3. Rnd 3: (3 sc, 1 dec) x 3 [12]
  4. Rnd 4 - Rnd 5: 12 sc [12]
  5. Rnd 6: 2 sc, 4 inc, 6 sc [16]
  6. Rnd 7 - Rnd 8: sc in all 16 sc [16]
  7. Rnd 9: 8 dec [8]

Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing. Using your yarn needle, weave the yarn tail through the front loop of each remaining stitch and pull it tight.

Leg 2:

Skip next 1 st on round 11 of body after leg 1, on the left-hand side. Join brown yarn in this stitch.

  1. Rnd 1: 10 sc on the body. 5 chain [15]
  2. Rnd 2: 10 sc on the body, 5 sc on the chain [15]
  3. Rnd 3: (3 sc, 1 dec) x 3 [12]
  4. Rnd 4 - Rnd 5: 12 sc [12]

  3. Rnd 5: 1 chain, 12 sc, 3 chain, turn [12]
  4. Rnd 6: 1 chain, 12 sc, turn [12]
  5. Rnd 7 - Rnd 9: 1 chain, 9 sc, turn [9]

Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.
