Start with the main color:
Stuff as you go.

Change to pants color:
Rounds 5-6: 12 sc (2 rounds)
Fasten off.
Crochet the second leg, do not fasten off.
Make 2 additional sc on the second leg and ch 2, join with the first leg.
Continue crocheting the body in the round:
Round 7: 12 sc on the first leg, 2 sc in ch 2, 12 sc on the second leg, 2 sc in ch 2 (opposite side) [28]

Rounds 9-10: 30 sc (2 rounds)

Switch to main color:
Round 12: BLO: 25 sc

Sew the hole closed with a needle through the outer loops.
Eye Safety
Mark the eye points:
Points #2 and #4 are located under the eyes.
Points #1 and #3 are 4 to 5 rounds below points #2 and #4.
Follow the photo below as a guide.
Use a long needle with strong thread or cotton yarn.
Insert the needle from point #1 and bring it out at point #2. Insert the needle to the left, 2 sc away from point #2, and bring it out at point #1. Pull slightly. Repeat several times.
Next, insert the needle into point #3 and bring it out at point #4. Insert the needle to the right, 2 sc away from point #4, and bring it out at point #3. Pull slightly. Repeat several times.
Fasten off. You can use the thread to sew on a muzzle.
Assembly
Stuff the muzzle with filling.
Pin the muzzle to the head, shaping it into an oval.
Pin the ears to the head, 3 rounds of sc from the center of the head. Sew the ears onto the head.
Embroider a nose, eyebrows, and eyelids.
Front Panel of Overalls
Mark 8 sc at the center of the pants with pins.
Attach the yarn in the pants color to the front loop of Round 13.
Round 1: FLO: Ch 1, 7 sc [8], turn
Round 2: Ch 1, 7 sc
Do not cut the yarn.
Continue crocheting a strap: Ch 15, 5 sl st on the back (in the front loop of Round 13), Ch 15, join to the front panel with a sl st.
Fasten off.
Filling the Heart
As you go.
Make 2 pieces:
Round 1: Ch 2, 6 sc in the 2nd ch from the hook [6]
Round 2: (inc) repeat 6 times [12]
Round 3: 12 sc
Fasten off.
Do not cut the yarn when finishing the second piece.
Join two parts together:
Round 4: 12 sc on the first piece, 12 sc on the second piece [24]
