EXAMPLE OF CLOSING

This example demonstrates how to close the feet and hands, using a different colored thread for visibility:

• With the needle, pick up each of the outer loops of the stitches.
• Pull the thread until the piece closes, resembling a magic ring.
• Insert the needle through the center of the magic ring and hide the thread.

DIVISION FOR LEGS

Right Leg:

1. Crochet 2sc, change to nude color, and continue with 11sc. Turn the piece.
   • Crochet 1sc in the 3rd stitch from the start of the round. (11sc) 2-11. (11sc)
2. 8sc, (Aum x 3) (14sc), start stuffing.
3. 4sc, change to lilac color, 10sc (14sc) 14-15. (14sc)
4. Work in the back loops only, Dism x 7 (7sc)

Left Leg:

(To start this leg, the doll should be facing you so that the increases face forward.)

1. Separate 11sc with a stitch marker, crochet in those stitches (11sc). There will be a small gap of 4 stitches (2 on each side) that will be closed later.

3. Start the round by changing to lilac color (14sc)

ARMS AND SKIRT

Arms:

1. Crochet sc in the stitches that were left on hold (8sc).
   2-12. (8sc) Leave a long tail for sewing. Stuff as you go.

Repeat the process for the other arm.

Skirt:

Start from the back of the doll, right in the middle.

1. Crochet sc in the stitches left on hold in round 33 (19sc, 1 aum) (21sc)

3. (2sc, 1 aum) x 9, 1sc (37sc)

This dress is crocheted by turning at the end of each row. Remember to make a chain to lift the stitch.

Sew the back part of the dress when putting it on the doll.

4. Crochet 30 chains, starting from the second chain from the hook, turn and crochet with hdc (29sc).
   Join to the base with a slip stitch. Repeat the process for each stitch (24 strands of hair).

Sew or glue the hair to the head.

   Sew between rows 13 and 15.

Embroider eyebrows and eyelashes with black thread. Apply blush to the cheeks.
