  2. Row 2: 3 inc (6)
  3. Row 3: 6 sc (6)
  4. Row 4: (inc, 2 sc) * 2 times (8), leave a long tail.

Sew the nose between the eyes, between the 40th and 42nd rows of the head.

Scarf

Crochet in alternating rows of white and red yarn. Chain 4 + ch, start and end with 4 rows of red yarn. Alternate two rows of red and white along the rest of the length. The total length should be about 40 cm. You can also knit the scarf using the 1x1 rib stitch on 8 stitches for a length of about 50 cm. Add tassels or pom-poms if desired.

Bucket

Use gray yarn (or another color, striped if desired):

  1. Row 1: 7 sc into MR (7)
  2. Row 2: 7 inc (14)
  3. Row 3: (1 sc, inc) * 7 times (21)
  4. Row 4: (2 sc, inc) * 7 times (28)

  10. Rows 12-13: 42 sc (42)
  11. Row 14: (5 sc, inc) * 7 times (49)
  12. Rows 15-16: 49 sc (49)
  13. Row 17: (6 sc, inc) * 7 times (56)
  14. Rows 18-19: 56 sc (56)
  15. Row 20: (7 sc, inc) * 7 times (63)
  16. Rows 21-23: 63 sc (63)
  17. Row 24: 63 sl st (63)

Do not cut the yarn, chain 30. Adjust the bucket so the chain fits around the head as the bucket's handle. Fasten off, sew the other end of the chain on the opposite side.

If you crocheted a solid-colored bucket, you can decorate it with embroidery. For example, I added a Christmas tree with a star. You can also add white or red embroidery trim in cross-stitch.

Final Touches

Finally, embroider the smile if desired. You can make it thinner using regular sewing thread.
