Rabbit and mouse Amigurumi free pattern


 

Required Materials:

  • Yarn:
    • YarnArt Jeans No. 03 Milk (160 m/50 g) - approximately 1 skein per toy. *As seen in the photo, my toys are different colors, but they are all the same shade from different purchases.
    • Pink yarn for the mouse's face detailing.
    • A bit of orange yarn for freckles and the bunny's nose (I used Jeans yarn).
    • For the clothing, I used Pekhorka Baby New (200 m/50 g):
      • Colors for the mouse: No. 567 Dark Violet, No. 389 Light Violet.
      • For the bunny: No. 65 Exotic, No. 12 Yolk.
    • Any brown yarn for the willow branches (I used Alize Cotton Gold).
    • Alize Softy, white (for the willow buds).
    • Alize Cotton Gold No. 02 Mustard (300 m/100 g) (for the cake).
    • YarnArt Jeans No. 01 White (160 m/50 g) (for the cake).
    • Alize Lana Gold No. 05 Beige (240 m/100 g) (for the basket). You can use any thick yarn.
    • Alize Bamboo Fine - No. 55, White (440 m/100 g) (for the doily).
    • Multicolored threads for the cake sprinkles.
    • 9mm safety eyes - 2 pairs.
    • Dark brown embroidery thread for facial detailing.
    • Nylon or dental floss for sewing and tightening.
    • Wire (I used a copper wire with a 2mm diameter, insulated). Approximately 40 cm for the arm frame, 26 cm for the basket handle, and 1 willow branch - 17 cm.
    • White beads, 5mm - 28 pieces.
    • 2 buttons for the skirts.
    • Thin ribbon for decorating the basket.
    • Crochet hook, 1.5 mm.

Arms

Fingers:

  • One large piece:

  • Two small pieces:
    1. 5 sc in MR.

    3. 5 sc, fasten off, cut the thread on one piece.
    4. For the second small piece, don’t cut the thread and continue crocheting, connecting the fingers into a palm: 3 sc on the small piece, 3 sc on the large piece, 5 sc on the second small piece, 2 sc on the large piece, 2 sc on the small piece (circle is formed).
    5. Rows 2-4: 3 rows of 15 sc.
    6. (3 sc, dec) * 3 (12).
    7. 12 sc.
    8. (3 sc, inc) * 3 (15). Stuff the hand tightly, but only lightly stuff the arm to maintain shape.
    9. Rows 8-20: 13 rows of 15 sc.
    10. (3 sc, dec) * 3 (12). Insert wire with bent ends along the arm's length.
    11. (2 sc, dec) * 3 (9).
    12. (1 sc, dec) * 3 (6). Fasten off, cut the thread. Make the second arm in the same way.</

      Mouse Ears o_o

      Using the main color, make two pieces:

      1. 6 sc in MR.
      2. 6 inc (12).
      3. (1 sc, inc)*6 (18).
      4. (2 sc, inc)*6 (24).
      5. (3 sc, inc)*6 (30).
      6. (4 sc, inc)*6 (36).

      Using pink yarn (for the inner part), make two pieces:

      1. 6 sc in MR.
      2. 6 inc (12).
      3. (1 sc, inc)*6 (18).
      4. (2 sc, inc)*6 (24).
      5. (3 sc, inc)*6 (30).
      6. Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing.

      Now place the pink inner piece on top of the main color piece and sew them together along the edges, then fold the ear slightly and sew it to the head.

      Tail for the Mouse:

      1. Chain 15 + 1 turning chain.
      2. Start from the second chain stitch from the hook: 14 sl st, fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing.

      Tail for the Bunny:

      1. 6 sc in MR.
      2. (1 sc, inc)*3 (9).
      3. (2 sc, inc)*3 (12).
      4. (3 sc, inc)*3 (15).
      5. 15 sc.
      6. (3 sc, dec)*3 (12).
      7. (2 sc, dec)*3 (9).
      8. (1 sc, dec)*3 (6).
      9. 3 dec, fasten off, leave a long tail for sewing.

      Skirt for the Mouse:

      Start with dark violet yarn:

      1. Chain 48 + 1 turning chain.
      2. Start from the second chain stitch from the hook: 48 sc.
      3. 48 sc.
      4. Change to light violet yarn: ch 2, dc into the next stitch and each stitch around (48 dc).
      5. 2 more rows of 48 dc.
      6. Finish with a shell edge: (skip 1 st, 5 dc into the next stitch, skip 1 st, sl st) around the row.

      Skirt for the Bunny:

      Start with Exotic yarn (light pink):

      1. Chain 48 + 1 turning chain.
      2. Start from the second chain stitch from the hook: 48 sc.
      3. 2 rows of 48 sc.
      4. Change to Yolk color yarn (yellow): ch 2, dc into the next stitch and each stitch around (48 dc).
      5. 48 dc.
      6. Finish with a shell edge: (skip 1 st, 5 dc into the next stitch, skip 1 st, sl st) around the row.

      Doily:

      1. Start with Alize Bamboo Fine yarn (white): 6 sc in MR.
      2. (1 sc, inc)*3 (9).
      3. (2 sc, inc)*3 (12).
      4. (3 sc, inc)*3 (15).
      5. (4 sc, inc)*3 (18).
      6. Continue increasing evenly every row in the same manner, until the doily reaches the desired size. Use a stitch marker to keep track of the rounds.

      Basket:

      Start with beige yarn:

      1. 6 sc in MR.
      2. 6 inc (12).
      3. (1 sc, inc)*6 (18).
      4. (2 sc, inc)*6 (24).
      5. (3 sc, inc)*6 (30).
      6. 30 sc for the sides of the basket.
      7. 5 more rows of 30 sc.

      Handle:

      1. Chain 26 + 1 turning chain.
      2. Start from the second chain stitch from the hook: 26 sl st.
      3. Attach the handle to the basket with the copper wire inserted into it for structure.

      Willow Branches:

      1. Using brown yarn: Chain 17.
      2. Start from the second chain stitch from the hook: 16 sl st.
      3. Make 5 branches and insert beads at the end of each branch to resemble willow buds.
      4. Attach the branches to the basket.

      The pattern is now complete. You can assemble the mouse and bunny by sewing all parts together, attach the safety eyes, and embroider facial details like the nose and freckles using orange and brown threads.
