Holiday Mouse Headband Free Crochet Pattern

 

Materials:

• Yarn: gray, pink, red, white, green colors.
• Hook suitable for your yarn.
• 3 red beads.
• Headband.
• Scissors.
• Sewing needle.

Abbreviations:

• KA - magic ring;
• v.p. - chain stitch;
• s.s. - slip stitch;
• sc - single crochet;
• inc - increase (two stitches in one stitch);
• dec - decrease (two stitches together);
• dc - double crochet.

Headband:

1. 6 KA
2. 6 inc. Next, continue spiraling along the length of the headband.

Ears:

We will crochet gray parts and 2 pink parts.

Gray:

1. 8 KA, do not close the ring, make a v.p., turn.
2. 2 dc, 4 inc, 2 dc - 12
3. (2 dc, inc) x 4 - 16
4. (3 dc, inc) x 4 - 20
5. (4 dc, inc) x 4 - 24

Pink:

1. 8 KA, do not close the ring, make a v.p., turn.
2. 2 dc, 4 inc, 2 dc - 12
3. (2 dc, inc) x 4 - 16
4. (3 dc, inc) x 4 - 20 (Change color to gray)
5. (4 dc, inc) x 4 - 24

Fold the pink and gray parts together and crochet with gray. Also, crochet a second ear.

Hat:

We will start crocheting with red yarn.

3. 8 sc.
4. (sc, inc) x 4 - 12
5. 12 sc.
6. 12 sc.
7. (2 sc, inc) x 4 - 16
8. 16 sc.

15. Change to white yarn:

Make a pom-pom from white yarn and sew it onto the hat.

Leaves:

Option 1:

1. Chain 12 with green yarn, from the 2nd chain from the hook:
2. 10 sc, 2 v.p., 8 sc from the back side.
3. v.p., turn, 7 sc, 2 inc, 8 sc.
4. v.p., turn, 7 sc, 2 inc, 6 sc.
5. v.p., turn, from the 3rd chain, 16 sc.
6. v.p., turn, from the 3rd chain, 8 sc, s.s.

Option 2:

1. Chain 9, from the 3rd chain from the hook:
2. 7 sc, 2 v.p., 5 sc from the back side.
3. v.p., turn, 5 sc, 2 inc, 5 sc.
4. v.p., turn, 5 sc, 2 inc, s.s.

Decoration:

1. Sew the ears to the crocheted base of the headband.
2. Sew on the hat; optionally, you can slightly fill it to maintain its shape.
3. Next, sew on the leaves and decorate with beads.
