Materials and Tools
- Yarn:
- YarnArt Jeans (50g/160m) - 56 red
- YarnArt Camelia (25g/190m) - 419 gold
- You can use similar yarns with appropriate length and color.
- Hook: I used 2.25 mm.
- Needle and strong thread for sewing parts together.
- Scissors
From the above materials, the box size will be about 5 cm high. I use a mixed crochet technique.
Abbreviations:
- MR: Magic Ring
- ch: chain stitch
- sl st: slip stitch
- sc: single crochet
- hdc: half double crochet
- puff st: puff stitch (3hdc from the same stitch and joined at the top)
- dec: decrease (crochet 2 stitches together)
- inc: increase (2 stitches in one stitch)
- (...): total number of stitches in the row
- Front loop: front (closest) strand of the stitch
- Back loop: back (farthest) strand of the stitch.
I use a mixed crochet technique, where the yarn is held under the hook, giving the fabric a cross-stitch-like texture. The fabric is denser, and the stitch shift is less noticeable.

Leave a long thread on each piece for sewing.
Take the short ribbon and sew it to the lid first. Then take the second ribbon, sew it to the lid starting from the edges, leaving a loop in the center. Form a bow from the central loop.
