FREE CROCHET PATTERN CHRISTMAS CAP

 

Required Materials:

• Super Bulky/Super Chunky velvet yarn Himalaya Dolphin baby 100g/120m (red color) or analogue;
• Super Bulky/Super Chunky fluffy yarn Himalaya Koala 100g/100m (white color) or analogue: YarnArt Mink, Alize Softy, Adelia Sofia.
• Hook size 3.5 mm;

Abbreviations:

• MR - magic ring
• CH - chain
• SL ST - slip stitch
• SC - single crochet
• INC - increase (2 sc in one stitch)
• DEC - decrease (2 sc together)
• )*6 - repeat instruction in brackets 6 times

Start crocheting from the pompom. I used textured yarn Himalaya Koala but you can take white velvet yarn.

It is a little difficult to crochet with fluffy yarn, but in this case, I just used a marker from the first round and constantly counted stitches, so there were no special difficulties.

Try on the cap on the toy, you may also need to crochet a round with increases so that the cap is in size.

Change color to white (fluffy yarn)

To make the cap more elastic, stretch it slightly with your hands in different directions and in length.
