Now, we start to crochet the bib of the overalls by crocheting in rows.

Continue making the overalls:

Put the overalls on the koala. Then, ch12 to make the first strap and attach it to the back of the overalls with 1 sc.

F.O and weave in loose ends.

For the second strap, attach blue yarn to the other side of the front of the overalls. Ch12, then attach it to the back of the overalls with 1 sc.

F.O and weave in loose ends.

Big leaves (× 2):

In green.

• Rnd 1: Ch5. From the 2nd st from the hook, 1 sc. 1 dc. 1 sc. [1 sc, ch2, 1 slst] in the next st. On the other side of the chain, 1 slst, 1 sc, 1 dc, 1 sc. Close the rnd with 1 slst.

F.O and leave a long tail for sewing.

Small leaf:

In green.

• Rw 1: Ch4. From the 2nd st from the hook, 1 sc, 1 dc, 1 sc.

You can embroider details on the leaves.

Branch:

• Rnd 1: 4 sc in MR (4 st)
• Rnd 2-6 (5 rnds): 1 sc in each st (4 st)

Assembly:

• Ears: Sew the ears on each side of the head, between rounds 3 and 8.
• Nose: Sew the nose between rounds 8 and 9 of the head.
• Head: Sew the head onto the body.
• Leaf on the head: Sew a large leaf on the top of the head between rounds 2 and 4.
• Eucalyptus branch: Sew a large leaf and a small leaf on each side of the branch. Then, sew the branch into one of the koala's hands.
