- 7 ss, (ch, 16 ss) × 3 times, ss, 9 ss + 2 ss, fasten off and cut the yarn
Moving to the walls
Attach the cream-colored yarn to the back loops left in the 12th row.
- Rows 1-12: 52 sc (52)
At the end of the 12th row, continue to the corner (I did 7 more sc) and begin working in rows:
- In the front loop only: ch1, 13 sc, ch, turn
- Rows 2-13: 13 sc, ch, turn. Fasten off and cut the yarn.
Windows (Make 3)
Use different colors or the same color for all windows.
- 6 sc in a magic ring
- 6 inc (12)
- (pr3, 2 sc) × 4 times, ss. Leave a long tail for sewing.
Door
- Ch 6, starting in the second chain from the hook: 4 sc, 3 sc in the last chain, work along the other side: 4 sc, ch, turn
- 4 sc, 3 inc, 4 sc, ch, turn
- 4 sc, (inc, sc) × 3 times, 4 sc. Leave a long tail for sewing.
Assembly
Insert and secure the ribbon for hanging. Sew the windows and door onto the house. It’s easier to divide the yarn into strands for sewing (if your yarn is 4-ply, use 2 strands for sewing). Secure all the ends inside. Embroider window panes with white yarn and add snowflakes on the roof using thin white yarn.
Finishing
To make the house sturdier, you can insert a plastic or cardboard frame inside. Or simply add stuffing and sew the bottom part closed using the back loops.
