Stuff the body firmly. Cut the yarn, leave a long tail. Tighten the remaining loops with a needle and the rest of yarn.

Wings (make 2)

Use 3.5 mm crochet hook
With yellow yarn:

• Rnd 1: 6sc in MR (6)
• Rnd 2: (1sc, inc) x 3 (9)
• Rnd 3: (2sc, inc) x 3 (12)
• Rnd 4: (3sc, inc) x 3 (15)
• Rnd 5: 15sc
• Rnd 6: (4sc, inc) × 3 (18)
• Rnd 7: (5sc, inc) x 3 (21)
• Rnd 8-9: 21sc
• Rnd 10: (5sc, dec) × 3 (18)

Don't stuff. Fold the wing flat together and make 9sc through both layers.
Fasten off and hide the yarn. Sew wings to the body at Rnd 23.

Beak

Use 2.5 mm crochet hook
With orange yarn, make 2 details:

• Rnd 1: 8sc in MR (8)
• Rnd 2: (inc) × 6 (16)
• Rnd 3: 16sc

Fold flat and make 8sc through both sides across. Fasten off and hide the yarn.
On the 2nd detail, don't cut the yarn; sew 2 details together. Sew the beak to the head between Rnd 15 and Rnd 16.

Feet (make 2)

Use 2.5 mm crochet hook
With orange yarn:

Make 8 ch. Work on both sides of the chain:

• Rnd 1: From the 2nd ch from hook: 7sc, turn, on the opposite site: 7sc
• Work in spiral rounds
• Rnd 2-7: 14sc
• Rnd 8: (dec, 5sc) × 2 (12)

Fold top of feet flat and make 6sc through both sides across. Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.

Headband

Use 2.5 mm crochet hook
With blue yarn:

• Make 5 ch + 3 tch (count as 1 dc)
• Into the 4th ch from hook: dc, 4 dc, turn the crocheting make 2 tch (count as 1dc)
• Rnd 2-36: 6 dc

Make 1 slst to fasten off the yarn and sew both ends together.

Ears (make 2)

• Rnd 1: MR, slst + 2 ch (count as 1 dc), more 5 dc in MR, slst into the top of the 1st dc stitch, ch 2 (always count as one dc stitch)
• Rnd 2: (1 dc, inc) × 3 (9)
• Rnd 3: (2 dc, inc) x 3 (12)
• Rnd 4: (3 dc, inc) × 3 (15)
• Rnd 5-7: 15 dc

Fold flat twice and make 4sc. Fasten off the yarn with slst and leave a long tail for sewing.
Sew ears at the distance of 1 row from each other. Wear the headband on the chicken.
