Amigurumi Valentine kitten pattern

 Valentine’s day is a day to celebrate love and friendship! You can make a kitten with a heart for a Valentine’s Day gift for anyone you love. This simple, adorable and free amigurumi pattern is suitable for all, beginners too. The finished toy is about 10-12 cm (4-5.5″) tall.

Materials:

• Sport / 5 ply yarn:
  • color for the kitten: white (Alize Cotton Gold #55)
  • color for the heart: pink (Alize Cotton Gold #98)
• Crochet hook 2.0 mm
• Black and rose thread to embroider the face (I use the same yarn separated in half)
• Tapestry needle
• Scissors
• Stuffing (polyester fiber fill)

Abbreviations:

ch = chain
st = stitch
sc = single crochet
inc = 2 sc in the next stitch
dec = single crochet 2 stitches together
( ) = number of stitches you should have at the end of the round/row

Make 9 ch.
Make an oval, starting from the 2nd ch from hook, work on both sides of the chain:

Sew the legs between R 3 and R 6 with 6 st distance between them.

Sew the heart to the hands.

Embroider eyes using black thread on the R 31 with 4 st between them.
Embroider the nose between R 30 and R 31, the mouth on R 29.

Paint the cheeks with pink eyeshadow or pastel and color the front of the ears with the same pain.
